The ambulance ride...

On Friday Maggie and Steve were two of the lucky six people that got a ride in an ambulance to school.  Maggie got picked up third and Steve got picked up sixth. Maggie got to have a sweet ride on a stretcher bed.  On our journey, after we all got picked up, we went for a ride out of town into the 100ks zone and the music was really loud. When we pulled into school the sirens in the ambulance went off, they were very loud. We won this because of the Saint Johns coin trail fundraiser we held at school. We put our name in the draw and then we won.

Great Gala day

On Sunday the 13th of April Manchester St School had their Gala Day extravaganza!  There were lots of stalls and games for kids and adults. It was great weather too, the rain stayed away. Nursery tours, paint a pot, pony rides, lucky dips, basket ball shots and lots more. Incredible Room I  did thedelicious crunchy Candy Corner. We sold lots of sweets. The school made a total of $1805.00. All things were donated or loaned for free so it didn't cost the school much. A group called The Glee Club kindly sung for us. We all had an amazing day.

Sporty Senior Team Fitness

Each morning the sporty seniors get out to do fitness. Relays, running and children fill the court and playground as kids frantically run around trying to come first. Points are given out so we try to sit as straight as posibble. Here are some photos of us trying our best.

The happiest 5k on the planet

On the 30th of March I went to the Color (America spelling) Run with my mum. It was awesome. Each 1k colours were thrown at you. At some colours my team and I threw colours at each other. I got some in my ear and  it hurt quite a lot. When we were lining up in the line for the start of the race my mum was so lucky, she got a free bag which you can  tell went through the run. I also won a CD (Stan Walker) my mum won a hair product too. It truly was the happiest 5k in the planet. We made wacky tutus too!
Ps: our team name was 'Call Me Colourful'!
