Fascinating Friction!?

Room I (and the Senior Team) are investigating their new Inquiry topic; The Notion of Motion. Yesterday we talked about fair testing and how you change only one variable for each test.
Today we wrote a prediction, hypothesis, about what we thought would happen when we fair tested our racing cars on a ramp.
We all had the same surface and the same height to lean the ramp on. Each group had different cars and we repeated the testing.
We discussed why some cars went further and we decided it was because of their tyres and shape. The scientific words we are investigating are FRICTION and AERODYNAMICS.

Areodynamics: concerned with studying the motion of air, particularly when it interacts with a solid object.
Friction: is the force resisting the relative motion of solid surfaces, fluid layers, and material elements sliding against each other.
