Paleontologists on an archaeological dig!

On Friday Rm I and G had the most amazing Buddy Time!
Thanks to Mrs Geary and her friends at Te Manawa we went on a dinosaur bone hunt! Mr Green, a paleontologist from Te Manawa wrote Rm G a letter. He had heard about their Inquiry topic this term and wanted to tell them he believed there was almost an entire dinosaur skeleton buried in our school sandpit.
We organised an archaeological dig with correct tools and brushes and got busy. We worked out it may have been a flying dinosaur. We laid it out and we think we had nearly an entire skeleton!
Have a look at our photos below...

Basketball Superstars!

Congratulations MSS teams. 3 teams got into the finals. 2 were playing for 3rd/4th and the last for 1st/2nd. The Senior Team Teachers all came along to watch the games. They were very exciting, with some nail biting halves. Congratulations to all the players involved. You made us very proud! Well done especially to the winning team that took out the whole competition!
