In the holidays we were set a task...Design and create a parachute!

Materials I used:
Plastic bag
String
Action figure
Whats happening?
When you release the parachute the weight pulls down on the strings and opens up the parachute fabric using air resistance to slow it down.The bigger the parachute the more air resistance the slower the parachute will fall.
Cutting a small hole in the middle of the parachute allows air to slowly pass through it instead of spilling out on one side. This should help the parachute fall straighter.
